Welcome to SolarBay (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of SolarBay’s B2B solar marketplace platform, connecting buyers, vendors, and admins for solar procurement and project facilitation. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with these Terms.
1. User Roles
Buyers: Businesses registering to request quotes, compare offers, and place orders on the platform.
Vendors: Government-approved solar installation companies offering quotes and services to buyers.
Admins: Platform administrators managing operations and support.
2. User Registration and Account Responsibilities
Users must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
Users agree to notify SolarBay immediately of any unauthorized use of their account.
Each user agrees to use the platform lawfully and in compliance with these Terms.
3. SolarBay as a Marketplace Only
SolarBay operates solely as a digital marketplace facilitating connections between buyers and vendors.
We do not provide direct solar installation services nor act as an agent or principal in any transaction.
Contracts, payments, and agreements are strictly between the buyers and vendors.
4. Fees and Payments
Buyers pay a subscription fee to access platform services.
A nominal commission fee is charged to vendors for transactions facilitated through the platform.
All payment terms between buyers and vendors are their sole responsibility.
5. Vendor Information and Liability Disclaimers
SolarBay strives to vet vendors, but does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or performance of vendor offerings.
We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, relating to vendor services.
SolarBay is not liable for any damages arising from buyer-vendor interactions.
6. Prohibited Activities
Users shall not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
Any conduct deemed harmful to the platform’s integrity, users, or reputation is prohibited.
SolarBay reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in prohibited activities.
7. Dispute Resolution
Users agree to seek mutual resolution of any disputes arising from platform use or transactions.
If resolution fails, disputes may be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with Indian arbitration laws.
8. Additional Terms
Users agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations while using the platform.
SolarBay may modify these Terms at any time by posting updated versions on the platform.
